School-Wide
​Character Education

 The implementation of character education is apart of our system's strategic plan.  The awareness and practice is valuable for our students, staff, school climate & community.  Lessons are prepared by the Counseling Department & teachers deliver lessons twice to all grade levels. Topics include: soft skills, drug
awareness/prevention, career guidance,
​state requirements, etc.

Transition Activities
​

School Counselors work together to transition students from one level to the next. Fifth grade students tour LCMS in the Spring each year and
LCHS hosts upcoming freshmen for informational nights and campus tours in preparation of ninth grade. 

Responsive Services

Activities designed to meet students' immediate needs and concerns.

  • Mental Health Referrals
  • Resources for Homelessness, medical, financial assistance

Our Program is goal focused.  We use data from Assessments, Student/Staff/Community Health survey responses, Character Education monthly responses, Counseling Program Evaluation responses, CCRPI data, and Infinite Campus reports to support students & program goals.
